Number of puppies:  1 male and 2 females

Comment:  Shadow is confirmed pregnant! We are expecting puppies (ultrasound estimates 6-8) the first weekend in June. Even though our girl is 7 weeks pregnant, she is still guarding our guinea flock and alerting us if one stays on the ground after dark (predators love fresh guinea). She is still alerting us when people come to the house; I love the versatility of this breed!

Update 6-12-10:  The puppies have arrived! On June 8, 2010, Shadow gave birth to three beatiful puppies, two females and one male. We have applications that are being considered and are assured that they each have a loving home to greet them in early August!

Update 7-4-10:  The puppies are doing very well, they will be 4 weeks old on July 6. The are starting to play together and we have started to wean them with baby cereal.
